Marissa Fuentes focuses on land use and environmental law, handling all phases of the land use entitlement and permitting processes, including administrative approvals and litigation. As part of the firm’s legal team, her practice areas include the California Environmental Quality Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, the State Planning and Zoning law, various state housing laws, and constitutional matters. In addition, she has experience with various environmental laws, providing compliance counseling and assisting with securing permits and establishing project mitigation.
Marissa is heavily involved in the Sacramento Chapter of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the board of the ULI Young Leaders Group. Additionally, outside of work, Marissa enjoys exploring her neighborhood of East Sacramento, playing in a recreational softball league, indoor spin classes, and rooting for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
